Finals week is always stressful, so we took a break and climbed on some houses--legally, of course. The rooftop route in the Jewish quarter is used by locals as a shortcut. It's nice to see the city from a different point of view.
Some of the narrow streets in the Old City are covered to keep the sun and rain off. You get more customers when the weather isn't a factor. The black containers on the roofs are water heaters.
This street leads to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It was still morning so the streets aren't crowded yet.
Check out all the church steeples (and a minaret). You're looking at the Christian Quarter. In the foreground you can see the different roof levels. This would be a great place for parkour.
At the end of a walk I stumbled upon these cats. Kinda strange but kinda fun.
